Hello! My name is Lara Simshauser and I’m a 17 year old vegan. I’m half Chinese and half white, and I’m currently a junior in high school. I was born in LA, but I’ve lived in a suburb outside of Boston for most of my life. I first got interested in vegetarianism when I was in 5th grade and I was a pescatarian for about 3 years before I heard about veganism. I’ve been fully vegan for about 3 years now! I wanted to start a blog because veganism is my life’s passion and I want to find my own way of advocating for veganism. On this blog I take on new and interesting topics related to veganism, and give a fresh, new outlook on common topics. This blog isn’t just for teens, or anyone for that matter!
